Kartik Srivatsa

Kartik Srivatsa is the investment manager for SONG Investment Advisors. Kartik joins SONG from Lightspeed Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm where he was a founding member of the India practice. At Lightspeed, Kartik was responsible for sourcing and evaluation of deals across a number sectors such as technology,education, financial services and business services, and was involved in Lightspeed’s first non-technology India investment in ItzCash, a prepaid cash card company. Prior to Lightspeed, Kartik was a consultant with McKinsey and Company, advising corporations in the oil and gas, cleantech ,and information technology sectors across strategy, operations and organization functions. He has also spent time with Acumen Fund, a social venture fund, in helping them launch their energy portfolio.

Kartik received his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Energy Technology, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras where he was awarded the Shankar Dayal Sharma Prize for all-round achievement.
