SONG Investment Thesis
- According to Technopak, 84% of hospitals in India are below 30 beds (nursing homes) and they are run by individual or couple of doctors. This segment is the largest chunk of the healthcare services market in India, however it is completely unorganized.
- Opportunity exists to build a 40-60 bedded hospital chain with high quality infrastructure providing comprehensive secondary healthcare services in underserved towns and localities. Small nursing homes don’t have proper infrastructure, processes, staff, access to capital to deliver high quality healthcare. This unorganized market is ripe for innovation.
- Promoted by Dr. C.J. Vetrivel and C. Lakshmanan with over 30 years of collective global experience with leading corporate hospital chains.
- Over 40% of Patients treated at Be well Hospital belongs to low income segment
- Strategic and operational plan for next two years
- Helping execute brownfield strategy for growth
